Considering the topic of this week’s readings, I think it is interesting to look at the BIG website and how it acts itself like a product that is adaptable according to the user’s needs (on a smaller scale, of course) by offering the possibility of choosing different rules for displaying the projects. It’s fascinating just to watch the process of shifting around once you change the “rule”… adaptive systems… moreover, the graphic display itself reveals so much information about the firm’s approach as you shift around the rules of the arranging algorithm (from what scale do they prefer to what is the most common first letter for their projects etc.) —> http://www.big.dk

Also, the projects of BIG might be quite controversial when talking about Parametricism and the new era of digital dialectics
